Didn't work!! Crap*
It looks like something firm,... it moves a lot when you're trying to sharp the knives and blades,.. and I did exactly how the pictures and the words says,.. and Nothing Crap didn't work!! Id prefer do it as Old school...

I really tried to get this United Cutlery sharpener to work. It actually made the edge worse. I tried it on several knives. From cheap ones to good ones already with a good edge. It took the edge right off. Finally I just donated it good Will, I pity the person who gets it. I'm bad.
But the sharpener that does work well is the little tiny Edgeware, only about
3 1/2" long has course and fine sharpening ability. The course edge does take off a little metal off of your knife but that is really sharpening the knife. Remember, Edgeware.
