Flimsy product, horrible customer service
By the third use, the cheap plastic knob cracked and fell off. I contacted Amazon to return the item, boxed it up, and printed out the forms. Got busy and missed the return deadline. Fast forward six weeks (yes, six whole weeks - I'm a bad, bad person!) I contacted KALORIK customer service to request a replacement knob. The customer service person (Kenny) informed me that he could get me a price on the replacement item because I was beyond 30 days of purchase. He was adamant that I was abusing some kind of "system" because of my request and there was a reason that their policy was in place. So now I have a blender that is unusable because of a cheap crappy piece of plastic that broke. Somehow I'm sure that's my fault. Ironically, the less expensive blender that I bought from Target is working just fine. My first and last purchase from this company (Kalorik)
good for the price
This is a nice blender. Not too heavy, but at the same time clearly not of the quality of a $200 blender. It works great for a frozen drink or a fruit smoothie.
Never ever buy anything made by Kalorik - zero is too high for their products.
Kalorik products are total junk - I used this blender for a total of 25 minutes over 3 years and it is dangerously broken...if you own one, I'd advise tossing it before the blades comes apart at high speed and cause the jar to explode.
