Ah - Is this a joke?
I was about to buy this blade as a replacement for my RIVAL 1042 slicer, but realized that it is about 2.5x the cost of the ENTIRE machine. It is a modestly good slicer, but certainly not worth 2x-3x total original cost, even for a 'great' blade. I'd rather buy a new slicer. Since I bought my RIVAL 1042, others have appeared in the market and are probably much better. No more parts for this one, even the 'basic' blade. I may be slow, but I'm not THAT stupid!
