Not expensive, but surely you can do better
Okay - so this isn't a top-of-the-line can opener.
In fact, some might wonder why anyone would bother to leave a review
at all for a can opener that is less than $25. Well I'll tell you why - you'll
save that money if you don't buy this one.
I didn't expect it to work by merely waving the can in the general area.
However, this can opener proved to be a real pain in the patootey.
It doesn't always like to hold on to the can, but once it does, good luck getting it
OFF the can opener. We had a lot of trouble with that on this model.
It was feast or famine, held the lid like glue or barely at all.
On the times it would hold tightly, it always made a mess on the counter to get the

Procter Silex Can Opener
Works well and good price. I'm happy with it and the time it took to receive the item was sooner then expected.
this seems silly, it's a can opener review, for pete's sake
What can I say? it's a can opener. The starred wheel wears out and won't drive the can any more, so you buy a new one.
I liked the brand name and the price and Amazon does a good job delivering.
The opener is pretty short so I think one would have to modify one's approach to opening tall cans.
